How often can I do the Body Cleansing Ritual?
The four steps of the body cleansing ritual are: preparing skin for exfoliation, exfoliating, purifying & hydrating, and nourishing. The complete ritual with exfoliation can be done 1-2 times per week, but our body wash and dry body oil are designed to keep skin nourished and radiant between exfoliation sessions, so you are free to use them as often as daily. We are firm believers in the power of a daily hot soak.Can I shave before doing the ritual?
We recommend shaving immediately after the ritual or the next day. Shaving is its own form of exfoliation and we find the best results come from allowing the Pre-Exfoliating Foam & Exfoliating Body Glove to do the job first.Should I wash my skin before I start the ritual?
No need! Start with your skin as is and let our ritual transform and cleanse. We recommend avoiding skin moisturizers and body washes within 24 hours of beginning the Body Cleansing Ritual as they may interfere with the process.Can I do the Body Cleansing Ritual in the shower?
Yes! The most important environmental component of the ritual is warmth and steam, which help to open pores and foster relaxation. So fill the room with as much steam as possible before getting in and make sure skin stays warm and wet while performing the ritual and especially throughout the exfoliation process.
